The district and each of its schools must develop a safe place to collect and report data. Data through student, family, certified staff, support staff, and community satisfaction surveys help to identify perceptions of what is going well and what needs attention. Group data is great to share publicly. Individual data is inappropriate to share publicly. Teams need to develop a comfort level to examine one another’s data. Establish a culture of accountability is a necessary effort to use data to make decisions.
